Mama Mia Speech treats a wide range of speech/language disorders, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), and cognitive-communication disorders.

At this time, Mama Mia Speech does not provide feeding/swallowing therapy, voice disorder therapy, bilingual speech language therapy, ASL only communication therapy, or assist clients with obtaining an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device through insurance.

Mama Mia Speech does not currently accept any insurance and is strictly a private pay practice. Fortunately, this means we are not limited or restricted by the terms and conditions that insurance requires and are therefore able to provide high quality, individualized service delivery and interventions on terms that work best for our families.

We are also able to accept payment from HSA/FSA cards via a Square reader with a 2% card processing fee.

An initial consultation is required in order to determine if services are recommended and if so, what service delivery model will be implemented. This is not a formal evaluation. Mama Mia Speech can complete an evaluation at the request of the client/guardian(s); however, an evaluation is not required to establish a treatment plan in order to bill for services.

No, only an initial consultation is required to establish services with Mama Mia Speech. However, the initial consultation is not a guarantee of services. This meeting may determine that the services of Mama Mia Speech are not warranted or recommended. If applicable, other services in the community may be recommended.

Typically, therapy sessions are scheduled at least once per week, for 30-60 minutes. Sessions typically include briefing/debriefing of at least 5 minutes or more. However, depending on severity, longer/more frequent or shorter/less frequent sessions may be recommended.

Mama Mia Speech currently offers in clinic (out of detached home office), virtual sessions and in home sessions on a limited basis and including a travel fee in addition to regular session rates.
